  attempting to hold people accountable\nbased on that fiction\, we should 
 define our expectations of and\ncommitments to the others in our various c
 ircles of affinity\, and use\nthem as the basis for our responses to confl
 ict and harm. [...] If we\ncan create stronger ties with each other and un
 derstand our\naffinities more concretely\, perhaps we'll have the basis to
  make\ncommunity accountability something more than a vague and contentiou
