 allem\, nachdem ich mir in Libanon ein Fundament aus Freund*innen und Bez

  - 8. November 2021\nAus dem sonntäglichen Mittagessen mit der Familie si
 nd Whatsapp-Videoanrufe geworden\, bei denen sich jedes Mitglied an einem 
 anderen Ort befindet. Abendessen mit Freunden haben sich in einen sehnsuch
 tsvollen Fotoaustausch verwandelt\, bei dem wir beginnen\, Pläne für ein
  Treffen in Libanon oder an einem Ort zu schmieden\, für den kein Visum 
 erforderlich ist. Da die Einwanderung in Libanon weiter zunimmt\, frage i
 ch mich\, wie die Zukunft aussehen wird. Wird das Land seinen Weg zurückf
 inden oder\, was noch wichtiger ist\, werden die Menschen ihren Weg zurüc
 k zum Land finden? Die Vorstellung einer kollektiven Zukunft wird immer sc
 hwieriger\, wenn der Exodus weiter zunimmt. Die klangliche Reise ist der g
 roßen Zahl von Menschen auf der ganzen Welt gewidmet\, die ihre Heimat ve
 rlassen mussten und sich weiterhin zwischen zwei Orten und Räumen treiben
  lassen. AND WHO ARE WE NOW? ist eine fortlaufende Recherche\, die 2022 be
 gann\, sich immer wieder verändert und transformiert und deren Wachstum v
 on persönlichen und globalen Umwälzungen beeinflusst wird. Die Performan
 ce selbst ist ein Akt der Trauer und lädt die Zuhörer*innen ein\, an die
 sem kollektiven Moment teilzunehmen.\n\nENG: “In a sense\, I felt like I

  into whatsapp video calls\, with every member in a different location. Di
 nner gatherings with friends have turned into photo exchanges of longing\,
  where we begin to make plans to meet in Lebanon or somewhere that doesn
 ’t require a visa. As immigration continues to grow in Lebanon\, I begin
  to wonder what will the future look like? Will the country find its way b
 ack? Or more importantly\, will the people find their way back to the coun
 try? The notion of a collective future becomes challenging to imagine as t
 he exodus continues to grow. The sonic journey is dedicated to the massive
  number of people around the globe who have had to leave their homes\, yet
  continue to find themselves drifting between two places and spaces. AND 
 WHO ARE WE NOW? is an ongoing research that started in 2022. It continues
  to shift and transform itself\, and its growth is affected by personal an
 d global upheavals. The performance in itself is an act of mourning\, invi
 ting listeners to take part in this collective moment.\n\nDiese Veranstalt
