 *Freier Eintritt*\n\nDie Situation an den EU-Außengrenzen ist verheerend.
  Täglich werden Menschen brutal und illegalerweise gepushbacked. Politisc
 her Aktivismus und zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement\, welche sich gegen 
 die katastrophalen und menschenverachtenden Zustände und Bedingungen für
  Menschen auf der Flucht richten\, werden kriminalisiert. Insbesondere akt
 ive Fluchthilfe wird mit Menschenhandel gleichgesetzt und drakonisch bestr
 aft.\n\nDies steht im starken Kontrast zum Umgang mit Supporter*innen in Z
 usammenhang mit dem Ukraine-Krieg. Dort findet solidarisches Engagement mi
 t expliziter Unterstützung staatlicher Strukturen statt und wird als Bür
 ger*innenpflicht verstanden. Offensichtlicher könnte sich die rassistisch
 e Asylpolitik der EU nicht zeigen.\n\nIm ersten Teil der Veranstaltung wer
 den Aktivist:innen der Graswurzel-Organisation Blindspots anhand des dokum
 entarischen Kurzfilms "Near our border" von der prekären Situation von Me
 nschen auf der Flucht im bosnisch-kroatischen Grenzgebiet berichten.\n\nNa
 ch einem Hörspiel zum Thema solidarische Fluchthilfe werden anschließend
  in einer Podiumsdiskussion Potentiale und Grenzen verschiedener Supportar
 beiten sowie aktiver Fluchthilfe mit verschiedenen Akteur:innen diskutiert
 .\n\nZiel der Veranstaltung ist\, solidarische Unterstützung von Menschen
  auf der Flucht zu entkriminalisieren\, um mehr Menschen zum eigenen polit
 ischen und konkreten Engagement zu ermutigen.\n\nDie Veranstaltung findet 
 auf deutsch und englisch statt\, für eine Flüsterübersetzung zwischen d

 Cinema in the Spinnerei\n*Free admission*\n\nThe situation at the EU's ext
 ernal borders is devastating. Every day people are brutally and illegally 
 pushbacked. Political activism and civil society engagement\, which are di
 rected against the catastrophic and inhumane conditions for people on the 
 move\, are criminalized. Especially active refugee assistance is compared 
 to human trafficking and punished severely.\n\nThis is a stark contrast to
  the treatment of supporters in connection with the war in Ukraine. There\
 , solidarity-based engagement is explicitly supported by state authorities
  and understood as a duty of citizenship. The racist asylum policy of the 
 EU could not be more obvious.\n\nIn the first part of the event\, activist
 s from the grassroots organization Blindspots will report on the precariou
 s situation of refugees in the Bosnian-Croatian border region with the sho
 rt film "Near our border".\n\nAfter a radio play on the topic of solidarit
 y-based refugee assistance\, the potential and limits of various support a
 ctivities as well as active refugee assistance will be discussed with vari
 ous actors.\n\nThe aim of the event is to decriminalize solidarity-based s
 upport for people on the move in order to encourage more people to get inv
 olved politically and concretely.\n\nThe event will be held in German and 
 English\, a whispered translation between these languages will be provided
