DESCRIPTION:KINOFOKUS AUF DIE UKRAINE\n(English below) In Kooperation mit d
 em Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin zeigen wir zwei Filme aus der Ukraine\, 
 einem Land ganz in der Nähe Deutschlands\, in dem seit Wochen etwas Grau
 enhaftes passiert – der Krieg. Wir möchten Euch folgende Werke präsent
 ieren: STOP-ZEMLIA von Kateryna Gornostai und THE EARTH IST BLUE AS AN OR
 ANGE von Iryna Tsilyk. Über Selbstbewusstsein und Liebe\, Selbstfindung\
 , Geduld und auch über Krieg.\n\nAlle Einnahmen beider Veranstaltungen sp
 enden wir ukrainischen Filmemacher*innen\, die in diesen dunklen Zeiten we
 iter ihre Arbeit machen und durch ihr Kameralicht uns allen dabei helfen\,
  die Realität besser zu sehen.\n\nBeide Filme werden im Ukrainischen Orig
 inalton gezeigt und haben englischsprachige Untertitel.\nSTOP-ZEMLIA\nMash
 a ist ein introvertiertes nonkonformes Mädchen im High-School-Alter. Wirk
 lich wohl fühlt sie sich nur mit Yana und Senia – Freund*innen\, die ih
 rer Unkonventionalität und ihrem Stil nahe stehen. In der turbulenten Zei
 t vor dem Schuljahresabschluss verliebt sich Masha auf eine Art und Weise\
 , die sie aus ihrer Komfortzone zwingt. Eine zutiefst persönliche Geschic
 hte über Selbstfindung und die dafür erforderliche Geduld von der ukrain
 ischen Debütantin Kateryna Gornostai.\n\nMit Filmeinführung und einem Ge
 spräch zur Lage in der Ukraine\, insbesondere der Filmemacher*innen\, mit
  der Programmleiterin des Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin\, Valentina Zalev
 ska.\n\nIn cooperation with the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin\, we presen
 t two films from Ukraine\, where something horrible has been happening for
  weeks - the war. About self-confidence and love\, self-discovery\, patien
 ce and also about war – the films by Kateryna Gornostai and Iryna Tsilyk
  are very different\, but they have one thing in common – humanity.\n\nA
 ll proceeds from both events will be donated to Ukrainian filmmakers who c
 ontinue to do their work in these dark times and through their camera ligh
