DESCRIPTION:KINOFOKUS AUF DIE UKRAINE\n(English below) In Kooperation mit d
 em Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin zeigen wir zwei Filme aus der Ukraine\, 
 einem Land ganz in der Nähe Deutschlands\, in dem seit Wochen etwas Grau
 enhaftes passiert – der Krieg. Wir möchten Euch folgende Werke präsent
 ieren: STOP-ZEMLIA von Kateryna Gornostai und THE EARTH IST BLUE AS AN OR
 ANGE von Iryna Tsilyk. Über Selbstbewusstsein und Liebe\, Selbstfindung\
 , Geduld und auch über Krieg. \nAlle Einnahmen beider Veranstaltungen sp
 enden wir ukrainischen Filmemacher*innen\, die in diesen dunklen Zeiten we
 iter ihre Arbeit machen und durch ihr Kameralicht uns allen dabei helfen\,
  die Realität besser zu sehen.\nBeide Filme werden im Ukrainischen Origin
 alton gezeigt und haben englischsprachige Untertitel.\n\nTHE EARTH IS BLUE
  AS AN ORANGE\nFür Hanna und ihre vier Kinder ist die Transformation eine
 s Traumas in ein Kunstwerk der ultimative Weg\, menschlich zu bleiben. Wä
 hrend die Außenwelt aus Bombenanschlägen und Chaos besteht\, schafft die
  Familie im ukrainischen Donbass-Kriegsgebiet ihr Zuhause als sicheren Haf
 en voller Leben und Licht zu erhalten. Jedes Familienmitglied hat eine Lei
 denschaft für das Kino\, was sie dazu motiviert\, einen Film zu drehen\, 
 der von ihrem eigenen Leben in Kriegszeiten inspiriert ist. Der kreative P
 rozess wirft die Frage auf\, welche Macht die magische Welt des Kinos in Z
 eiten der Katastrophe haben könnte.\n\nMit Filmeinführung zur Lage in d
 er Ukraine\, insbesondere der Filmemacher*innen.\nIn cooperation with the
  Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin\, we present two films from Ukraine\, wher
 e something horrible has been happening for weeks - the war. About self-co
 nfidence and love\, self-discovery\, patience and also about war – the f
 ilms by Kateryna Gornostai and Iryna Tsilyk are very different\, but they 
 have one thing in common – humanity.\nAll proceeds from both events will
  be donated to Ukrainian filmmakers who continue to do their work in these
  dark times and through their camera light help us all to see reality bett
 er.\nAbout THE EARTH IS BLUE AS AN ORANGE\nSingle mother Hanna and her fou
 r children live in the front-line war zone of Donbas\, Ukraine. While the 
 outside world is made up of bombings and chaos\, the family is managing to
  keep their home as a safe haven\, full of life and full of light. Every m
 ember of the family has a passion for cinema\, motivating them to shoot a 
 film inspired by their own life during a time of war. The creative process
  raises the question of what kind of power the magical world of cinema cou
 ld have during times of disaster. How to picture war through fiction? For 
 Hanna and the children\, transforming trauma into a work of art is the ult
