 N ist ein Essayfilm von Vanessa Nica Mueller über Küstenlinien und Pflan
 zen. Er folgt seiner Protagonistin auf ihrer botanischen Reise vom Wattenm
 eer an die Küste des Libanon. Sie sammelt Material für ihr Herbarium und
  wird Zeugin des ökonomischen Zusammenbruchs und der politischen Instabil
 ität im Libanon. Auf fragilem Terrain navigieren uns Pflanzen wie der Que
 ller\, die Mariendistel oder der karminrote Zylinderputzer an das Ufer des
  Beirut River\, zu einem wachsenden Mikrowald zwischen Stadtautobahnen ode
 r entlang modernistischer Architekturen. So erzählt die Flora von Anpassu
 ng und Wandel\, von Widerstandsfähigkeit und gefürchteten Veränderungen
 \, von Hyperinflation und menschenleeren Orten.\n\nNach dem Film laden wir
  zum Gespräch mit der Regisseurin Vanessa Nica Mueller ein.\n\nENG: LAND
 EN is an Essayfilm by Vanessa Nica Mueller about coastlines and Plants: it
  follows its protagonist on her botanical journey from the Wadden Sea to t
 he coast of Lebanon. While collecting material for her herbarium\, she wit
 nesses the consequences of Lebanon`s economic collapse and disturbing deca
 y. Along fragile ecosystems she loses herself between modernist architectu
 re or at the banks of the Beirut River to find some hope for a future afte
 r the fall. A metaphoric journey where nature leads us through crises and
