  treffen wir uns im Gewerkschaftslokal "Anna und Ferdinand Götze" des All
 gemeinen Syndikats Leipzig (FAU)\, um die Broschüre "Fighting for Ourselv
 es" der Solidarity Federation aus Großbritannien zu diskutieren.\n\nSind 
 wir in Arbeitskämpfen aktiv\, fehlt uns oft die Zeit für eine grundsätz
 liche politische Verständigung darüber\, was eine revolutionäre Gewerks
 chaftsbewegung war und heute sein könnte.\n\nAus der linksradikalen Nisch
 e der Anarchosyndikalist:innen war es die letzten Jahre zu diesem Punkt zu
 dem sehr still. Dieser Lesetreff möchte dazu beitragen\, Abhilfe zu schaf
 fen.\nDas Buch "Fighting for ourselves: anarcho-syndicalism and the class 
 struggle" der Solidarity Federation zielt darauf ab\, einen Teil der verlo
 renen Geschichte der Arbeiter:innenbewegung wiederzugewinnen\, um eine rev
 olutionäre Strategie für die gegenwärtigen Bedingungen zu entwickeln. I
 n klarer und verständlicher Prosa legt das Buch die anarchosyndikalistisc
 he Kritik an politischen Parteien und reformistischen Gewerkschaften dar\,
  setzt sich mit anderen radikalen Traditionen wie Anarchismus\, Syndikalis
 mus und dissidenten Marxismen auseinander\, erklärt\, was Anarchosyndikal
 ismus im zwanzigsten Jahrhundert war und inwiefern er für Arbeiter:innen 
 heute relevant - ja lebenswichtig - ist.\nVorkenntnisse irgendeiner Art si
 nd nicht erforderlich\, es gibt keine Teilnahmegebühr. Die Broschüre gib
 t es sowohl in englischer Sprache online als auch auf Anfrage auf deutsch.
 \n\nLeider ist das Lokal nicht barrierefrei. Es wird auf Anfrage ein klein
 es kostenfreies Essen geben für alle Leute\, die direkt von der Maloche k

 evening dates we meet in the union local of the General Syndicate Leipzig 
 (FAU) to discuss the brochure "Fighting for Ourselves" of the Solidarity F
 ederation from Great Britain.\n\nWhen we are active in labor struggles\, w
 e often lack the time for a fundamental political understanding of what a 
 revolutionary trade union movement was and could be today for us.\n\nFrom 
 the radical left niche of anarcho-syndicalists\, it has been very quiet on
  this point in recent years. This reading meeting would like to contribute
  to remedy this situation.\nThe Solidarity Federation's book\, Fighting fo
 r ourselves: anarcho-syndicalism and the class struggle\, aims to recover
  some of the lost history of the workers' movement\, in order to set out a
  revolutionary strategy for the present conditions. In clear and accessibl
 e prose\, the book sets out the anarcho-syndicalist criticisms of politica
 l parties and trade unions\, engages with other radical traditions such as
  anarchism\, syndicalism and dissident Marxisms\, explains what anarcho-sy
 ndicalism was in the twentieth century\, and how it's relevant - indeed\, 
 vital - for workers today.\nPrevious knowledge of any kind is not necessar
 y\, there is no participation fee. The brochure is available online in Eng
 lish\, as well as in German on request.\n\nUnfortunately the store has sta
