 dem Erscheinen des Romans\, der heute als queerer Schlüsseltext gilt\, sc
 hreibt Philosoph und trans Aktivist Paul B. Preciado einen filmischen Brie
 f an Woolf und ruft ihr zu: Deine Figur ist wahr geworden\, die Welt ist h
 eute voller Orlandos! In seinem Film zeichnet er seine eigene Verwandlung 
 nach und lässt 25 andere trans und nicht-binäre Menschen im Alter zwisch
 en acht und 70 Jahren zu Wort kommen. Sie alle schlüpfen auf ihre Art und
  Weise in die Rolle Orlandos.\n\nPreciados poetischer Film ist eine so wic
 htige wie berührende „politische Biografie“\, geschrieben entlang der
  eigenen und der kollektiven Geschichte aller anderen Orlandos – eine Ge
 schichte\, die noch immer eine des Kampfs für Anerkennung und Sichtbarkei
 t innerhalb eines heteronormativen Regimes ist. Ein Film\, von\, mit und f
 ür trans und nicht-binäre Menschen\, wie es ihn viel zu lange nicht gege
 ben hat.\n\nIm Anschluss an die Vorstellung am 14.9. findet ein Filmgespr
 äch über Selbstverständnis\, Selbstbestimmung und Selbstverständlichke
 iten der Situation von trans/nicht-binären Menschen statt. Mit Publizist*
 in Kuku Schrapnell und Berater*in und Geschlechterforscher*in Dr. Joris A.
  Gregor.\n\n"Orlando" (1928) by Virginia Woolf tells the story of a young 
 man who ends up being a woman. Almost 100 years after the publication of t
 he famous novel\, which is now considered a key queer text\, philosopher a
 nd trans activist Paul B. Preciado writes a cinematic letter to Woolf. In 
 his film\, he traces his own transition and lets 25 other trans and non-bi
 nary people between the ages of 8 and 70 have their say. They slip into a 
 collective history of all Orlandos - a history that is still one of the st
 ruggle for recognition and visibility within a heteronormative regime. (Fr
