 \, Figen Yüksekdağ\, Sibel Yiğitalp und Gültan Kışanak sind demokrat
 isch gewählte Politikerinnen oppositioneller türkischer Parteien (BDP\, 
 HDP\, DTP) und Teil der kurdischen Frauenbewegung\, die sich für eine dem
 okratische und offene politische Grundordnung im Land einsetzen. Alle vier
  wurden im Zuge der Repressionswelle nach dem gescheiterten Friedensprozes
 s zwischen der türkischen Regierung und kurdischen Gruppen in Türkei-Kur
 distan 2016 zur Haftstrafe verurteilt und drei von ihnen inhaftiert. Filme
 macher Şerif Çiçek und Hebûn Polat reisen zu Geburtsstädten\, zum Kan
 dıra-Gefängnis\, sprechen mit Familien\, Freund*innen und Kolleg*innen 
 – so entsteht ein politisches und zugleich sehr persönliches Portrait e
 iner politischen Opposition.\n\nNach dem Film findet ein Gespräch mit ein
 er der Protagonist*innen des Films\, Sibel Yiğitalp\, statt.\n\nFour wome
 n - one scenario: deposition\, persecution or imprisonment. Aysel Tuğluk\
 , Figen Yüksekdağ\, Sibel Yiğitalp and Gültan Kışanak are democratic
 ally elected politicians from Turkish opposition parties (BDP\, HDP\, DTP)
  and part of the Kurdish women's movement\, who campaign for a democratic 
 and open political order in the country. All four were sentenced to prison
  in the wave of repression following the failed peace process between the 
 Turkish government and Kurdish groups in Turkey-Kurdistan in 2016 and thre
 e of them were imprisoned. Filmmakers Şerif Çiçek and Hebûn Polat trav
 el to the cities where they were born\, to Kandıra Prison and talk to the
 ir families\, friends and colleagues\, creating a political and at the sam
 e time very personal portrait of a political opposition. (Turkish with Ger
