 ch Anderssein\, aber auch Skinheads und Neonazis treten in Erscheinung. Di
 e eskalierende Gewalt der frühen 90er Jahre wirft ihre Schatten voraus. S
 tefan Heym\, Christa Wolf und andere Intellektuelle suchen im Film den Dia
 log mit den Jugendlichen\, doch der Impuls kam zu spät. Seine Premiere ha
 tte UNSERE KINDER am 1. November 1989 auf der Leipziger Dokfilmwoche\, ein
  paar Tage später fiel die Mauer.\n\nMit einer Einführung von Filmhistor
 iker Dr. Andreas Kötzing\, (Hannah-Arendt-Institut\, Dresden).\n\nENG: At
  the end of the 1980s Roland Steiner took a impartial look at youth subcul
 ture in the GDR\, that were tabu before. Goths and punks talk about their 
 urge to be different\, but also skinheads and Neonazis are visible and for
