Wir feiern 150 Jahre Schutzehe! Infos und Inspiration zum Heiraten für den Aufenthaltstitel.
Deutschland schiebt »im großen Stil« ab und neo-faschistische Deportationsfantasien sind unter dem Begriff „Remigration“ salonfähig geworden. Gleichzeitig werden die legalen Korridore, um Migrierende und Flüchtende zu unterstützen, systematisch verengt. Der Aufschwung der (neuen) Rechten scheint unaufhaltsam.
Umso wichtiger ist es jetzt, Verantwortung füreinander zu übernehmen. Lasst uns darum über Schutzehen sprechen! Was ist eine Schutzehe und wie funktioniert sie? Mit welchen Hürden und Hindernissen ist zu rechnen – wie sind sie zu überwinden?
Pia Klemp, Antifaschistin, Aktivistin und Autorin berichtet von Schutzehen zu Zeiten des NS, der DDR und heute. Und sie stellt sich der Fragen aller Fragen: What’s love got to do with it?
Die Veranstaltung findet am 13. Juni ab 19 Uhr im Wasserschaden statt. Der Vortrag startet um 19:30, es wird Flüsterübersetzung ins Englische geben. Im Anschluss gibt es noch eine Solibar um Geld für Kämpfe zu Bleiberecht & Bewegungsfreiheit zu sammeln. Kommt vorbei, bringt eure friends mit, lasst uns übers Heiraten reden!

Celebrating 150 Years of Marriage for Protection! Information and inspiration on getting married for a residence permit.
Germany is carrying out deportations “on a massive scale,” while neo-fascist fantasies of expulsion have become socially acceptable under the banner of “remigration.” At the same time, the legal avenues for supporting migrants and refugees are being systematically narrowed. The rise of the (new) right seems unstoppable.
All the more reason to take responsibility for one another now. So let’s talk about marriages of protection! What is a protective marriage, and how does it work? What obstacles and challenges can be expected—and how can they be overcome?
Pia Klemp, anti-fascist, activist, and author, will discuss marriages of protection during the Nazi era, in East Germany (the GDR), and today. She will also tackle the question of all questions: What’s love got to do with it?
The event will take place on June 13 at Wasserschaden, starting at 7:00 pm. The talk begins at 7:30 pm, and whispered English interpretation will be available.
Afterwards, there will be a solidarity bar to raise funds for struggles around the right to stay and freedom of movement.
