Viele Menschen sitzen im Knast aus den unterschiedlichsten Gründen – weil sie zu oft ohne Ticket in der Bahn erwischt wurden, weil sie sich aktiv für eine bessere Welt eingesetzt haben und deswegen Repression erfahren, oder aus anderen Gründen. Wir denken dass Knast keine Probleme löst, sondern die Herrschaft sichert, die die Bedingungen schafft, die dazu führen dass Menschen überhaupt in den Knast wandern.
Wir wollen einen Raum anbieten um zusammen kreativ zu sein und Gefangenen etwas schönes in den Knast zu schicken – egal ob Zeichnung, Collage, Gedicht, Songtext, Postkarte oder Brief – alles was den grauen Alltag hinter Mauern für einen Moment vergessen lässt. Bastelmaterial, Listen mit Adressen und Postkarten gibt es vor Ort, außerdem auch Snacks, Kuchen und viel Wasser!
Wegen dem guten Wetter findet das Event im Rabet Park statt gegenüber vom Volleyballfeld:

Many people sit in jail because of the most different reasons – be it they where caught too often riding the train without a ticket, or because they fight for a better world and got targeted with repression by the state in response, or another stupid reason. We believe that prison doesn’t solves any problems, but guards the power structures that create the conditions which make people go to prison.
We want to create a space where people can come together to be creative and send something beautiful into jail – be it a drawing, a collage, a poem, a song text or a letter with some thoughts – anything that lights up he grey day to day of prison life. There will be material to get creative, lists with addresses of prisoners and postcards as well as stamps and snacks, cake and of course lots of water!
Because of the sunny weather the event will be at Rabet Park in Leipzig East next to the Volleyball Court.
