Synopsis:

DE: Deutschland steht an einem historischen Wendepunkt: Erstmals seit 1945 wird im Jahr 2025 ein migrationspolitischer Entschließungsantrag im Bundestag angenommen – mit Unterstützung der AfD, die vom Verfassungsschutz wegen rechtsextremer Bestrebungen beobachtet wird. Die Erklärung zur Begrenzung der Zuwanderung sieht unter anderem eine vollständige Schließung der deutschen Grenzen vor. Ein Paradigmenwechsel kündigt sich an: weg vom Schutz von Geflüchteten, hin zu Abschottung und Abschreckung

ENG: Germany is facing a historic turning point: for the first time since 1945, a resolution proposal on migration policy will be passed in the Bundestag in 2025 – with the support of the AfD, which is being monitored by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution due to its right-wing extremist activities. Among other things, the declaration on limiting immigration provides for the complete closure of Germany’s borders. A paradigm shift is looming: away from protecting refugees and towards isolation and deterrence.
