At the event, Imad Super will perform. He “creates a blend of film music and simple songwriting that invites you into a world of grand orchestration and gentle acoustic relief”.

There will be also a KüfA from 7 pm.

All the money we collected on that days goes to support Palestinan families.

Seit fast 700 Tagen wird Palästina systematisch ausgehungert und zerstört. Doch das Leid, die Vertreibung und die Unterdrückung der palästinensischen Bevölkerungen ist bereits seit Jahrzehnten bittere Realität. Sich in einer Gesellschaft für Palästina zu solidarisieren, die die Kriegsverbrechen Israels nicht nur befürwortet, sondern auch aktiv unterstützt, kostet uns alle viel Kraft.
„Not just numbers – grieving for Palestine“ soll einen Raum schaffen, an dem wir gemeinsam trauern und uns gegenseitig Kraft und Unterstützung schenken. Wir wollen uns aktiv gegen die Anonymisierung der Leidtragenden in Palästina stellen und uns gegenseitig in unserem Aktivismus stärken.
Am 06.09. werden wir gemeinsam einen Abend mit Musik, Poesie sowie Essen und Getränken verbringen. Imad Super wird den Abend musikalisch begleiten und betroffene Personen werden dazu eingeladen, Ihre Gedanken und Gefühle in einem Open mic zu teilen.
Alle Einnahmen des Abends werden an zwei Familien in Gaza gespendet, welche die Spenden dringend brauchen.

For almost 700 days, Palestine has been systematically starved and destroyed. But the suffering, displacement and oppression of the Palestinian people have been a bitter reality for decades. Showing solidarity with Palestine in a society that not only condones but also actively supports Israel’s war crimes takes a lot of strength from all of us.

‘Not just numbers – grieving for Palestine’ aims to create a space where we can mourn together and give each other strength and support. We want to actively oppose the anonymisation of those who are suffering in Palestine and strengthen each other in our activism.

On 6 September, we will spend an evening together with music, poetry, food and drinks. Imad Super will provide musical accompaniment for the evening, and those affected are invited to share their thoughts and feelings in an open mic session.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to two families in Gaza who urgently need the donations.
