DUH (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) and NABU (Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V.) have filed a lawsuit against the legality of LNG infrastructure off Rügen!
On 18.04.2024, the Federal Administrative Court will hear whether the LNG expansion off Rügen is still justified.
-The gas shortage is long gone
-LNG (liquefied natural gas) is NOT a climate-neutral energy source, but just as harmful as coal
-Germany is moving further and further away from its climate targets with CO2 and methane emissions from the extraction, transportation and combustion of liquefied natural gas.

Gegen die Rechtmäßigkeit von LNG Infrastruktur vor Rügen hat die DUH (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) und der NABU (Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V.) Klage eingereicht!
Am 18.04.2024 wird im Bundesverwaltungsgericht verhandelt, ob der LNG Ausbau vor Rügen noch rechtfertigt ist.
-Die Gasmangellage ist lange vorbei
-LNG (Flüssigerdgas) ist KEINE klimaneutrale Energiequelle, sondern genauso schädlich wie Kohle
-Deutschland entfernt sich mit den CO2 und Methan Emissionen durch Förderung, Transport und Verbrennung Flüssigerdgas immer weiter von seinen Klimazielen.
